Garden City Compost

Add a nutrient boost to your landscape beds or lawn with this plant based compost from Garden City Compost.   This product is created locally by the city of Missoula's composting facility.  The compost is comprised of decomposed materials from yard waste, food waste, and bio solids.  Please note that for food producing gardens we recommend the Organic Poultry Compost, Kalispell Creamery Compost, or for a premixed soil blend the Veggie Box / Flowerbed Mix. 

PFAS Disclaimer:  This compost may contain trace amounts of PFAS (polyfluoroalkyl substances).  Some compost ingredients—like food scraps, biosolids, or food packaging—can contain tiny traces of PFAS, a group of long-lasting synthetic chemicals. Because these substances don’t easily break down, they can remain in the environment and build up in soil or plants.

If you’d rather avoid any chance of PFAS exposure, we recommend using this compost only for non-edible landscaping.
